Starting in 2016, I began doing research on 360 videos, testing different cameras thanks to a job in the video and media department at my college. I would take the camera along with me as I mountain biked, snowboarded, played intramural sports, partied, etc. Eventually, I merged this interest in 360 video with my work back in NY, filming and producing a VR concept video narrated by Keanu Reeves for the fashion brand, Brujas. Soon after graduating, I merged my love and interest in music with the idea of live 360 videos. The first time I ever shot a 360 live performance video was at Yams Day 2019. With the right momentum and some luck, I have been able to continue to capture dozens of incredible live events, from studio sessions with Lil Mosey and Lil Tecca, to fashion shows and sold out concerts at arenas across the U.S. With the recent wave of 360 video taking hold, I strongly believe my work with 360 video in music will soon emerge as one of the first and most influential works of its kind. I have already seen labels adapt their outlook and approach to 360 video because of meetings me and my partner had with their marketing teams. Due to the relative newness of this technology, the countless hours the footage I have stored is extremely large and difficult to render/edit on my MacBook laptop. However, I assure you that I am in the process of breaking it all down and some more amazing things are coming soon!
